heirloom tomatoes

I canned a bunch of my Heirloom Tomatoes last fall, I love the color and flavors. I grew 16 different varieties last summer. 

Yes, I was a Chef. 

Some olive oil, fresh garlic and a piece of onion. added basil, oregano, thyme, Fresh pepper. I spiked it with some caraway seed, hot pepper flakes. a little different flavor and a touch of heat.

Some white wine this time, now traditional red, in fact a Marlborough, Sauvignon blanc, one of my favorite wines. I forget the exact vineyard, Next time ill have to take a picture.

a spoonful of my honey, and a little tomato paste to tighten it up.
