This was milled out of my front yard. a Sugar Maple planted 22yrs ago. When a disease hit a few years ago I finally had to cut it down. The color I thought was beautiful. A mistake turned to art. the wood was still too wet, so after sitting for a while it cracked and shrunk. thinking of tossing it, I decided to pour some green tinted epoxy into it. what turned out to be really pretty in my opinion.
